What I hate are sites that open new windows using a javascript: URL so even if I open them in another tab they open a new window anyway. Plus, they usually open with a different size or without decoration, and sometimes they manage to convince my browser to make that the default "new window" size so I end up having my browser opening 160x240 in the lower left corner next time it starts up.

There is a special place in hell for sites that open external links inside their own frame. Case in point: www.cjan.org. Play the "which scrollbar is going to move when I hit Page Down" game!
